Still at Dimmingsdale

I have not dropped dead yet. Yesterday we took my parents for a day out on the boat. We traveled for about 3 1/2 hours in each direction and stopped longer for lunch than anticipated consequently we were later back than first planned. It was a good day out, we have not moved the boat for some time and it felt good to be on the move again. We are still at Dimmingsdale, a very nice spot indeed. Surrounded by historic traditional working boats. We have just spent a week in the caravan at Eastnor Castle with the Midland Rover Owners Club. We were involved with the organisation of the 40th anniversary Major's Trial. Loads of work but great fun. Its good to be be back aboard now. The only other news is I have, at last, replaced the Disco that was a write off in March. We now have a very economical & environmentally friendly 3.9 V8 I think about 15 MPG is about as good as it will get. Sounds nice though. There is nothing nicer than the sound of a good old V8 consuming vast amounts of very expensive petrol! We shall move from here just as soon as the art work on the boat is completed.
